About the systems
What are StratGeeks trading systems?
StratGeeks builds rule-based automated trading systems designed to read specific aspects of market behaviour and execute according to defined rules. Each system approaches the market differently, and the strategies are configurable, so you can understand how they are designed to operate rather than relying on a black box.
How do StratGeeks strategies make trading decisions?
Each strategy is built around a defined set of rules, indicators, market conditions, entries, exits, targets, stops and other configurable parameters. The strategy follows those rules rather than trying to predict what the market will do.
We don’t train our strategies to predict the market. We build them to respond to it.
Do StratGeeks strategies use AI or machine learning?
No. StratGeeks strategies are built from defined trading rules and configurable parameters. They are designed to respond to market conditions rather than use AI or machine learning to predict the market.
Can I use StratGeeks strategies manually?
Yes. StratGeeks strategies can be used fully automated or manually. You can also take control of individual trades when you want to — including adjusting a stop, moving or extending a target, taking a trade off, or holding a position longer.
Do I need trading experience to use StratGeeks?
You don’t need to be an expert trader, but you should understand the basics of futures trading and the risks involved before using automated trading software with real money. We provide setup information and a 60-minute setup and review session to help you understand how the system is configured and operates.
Setup & requirements
What are the minimum requirements?
A correctly configured NinjaTrader account, a stable internet connection, and a computer or VPS capable of running NinjaTrader reliably during your trading session. A VPS is recommended for automated trading, but it is not required.
You will also need to configure the strategy parameters correctly using the StratGeeks setup instructions. An unstable internet connection, computer or VPS issues, or incorrect settings can affect how the strategy operates and may impact your trades.
Do I need a VPS?
No. A VPS is recommended for automated trading because it can provide a more consistent environment for running NinjaTrader, but it is not required. You can run StratGeeks strategies from your own computer as long as NinjaTrader remains open, connected and running reliably.
Do I need to keep my computer running?
Yes, if you are running the strategy locally. NinjaTrader needs to remain open and connected for automated strategies to operate. If you use a VPS, NinjaTrader can run there instead of on your personal computer.
What trading platform do StratGeeks strategies use?
StratGeeks strategies run through NinjaTrader.
Which brokers or data feeds can I use?
StratGeeks strategies run through NinjaTrader, so you can use them with any broker or data feed that is compatible with the NinjaTrader platform. Your broker and data-feed setup must be properly connected to NinjaTrader for the strategies to operate.
What markets or instruments can I trade?
StratGeeks strategies can be used on instruments for which you have a compatible data feed through NinjaTrader. Our templates and testing are primarily focused on MNQ (Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures), but the strategies can be applied to other instruments available through your NinjaTrader setup.
Can I use StratGeeks on my phone?
The StratGeeks website and membership information can be accessed from your phone, but the automated strategies themselves run through NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader must be running and connected for the automated strategies to operate.
Automation & control
Are StratGeeks strategies fully automated?
Yes. They can be run fully automated, but you can also choose to use them manually. The level of control is up to you.
Can I take control of an automated trade?
Yes. You can step in and take control of an individual trade. Depending on the situation, you can adjust a stop, move or extend a target, take a trade off, or hold it longer.
Can I change the strategy settings?
Yes. StratGeeks strategies are configurable. The setup materials explain the available parameters and how they affect the strategy.
Prop firms & accounts
Can the strategies be used with a prop firm?
Yes. StratGeeks strategies can be used with prop-firm accounts, but every prop firm has its own rules and restrictions. You are responsible for understanding and following the rules of the specific prop firm you use.
StratGeeks does not guarantee that a particular strategy, trading approach or account will meet a prop firm’s rules, evaluation requirements, funding requirements or payout requirements.
Can I use StratGeeks on evaluation and funded accounts?
Yes. You can use StratGeeks products with your prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts, provided the specific prop firm’s rules allow the trading activity and setup you are using.
How many trading accounts can I use?
There is no limit on the number of trading accounts you can use StratGeeks strategies or indicators with. You can use them across your prop-firm and cash accounts, provided your setup and the applicable account rules allow it.
How big of a trading account do I need?
There isn’t one account size that fits everyone. StratGeeks strategies and templates can be scaled to match your preferred level of risk.
Many of the templates can be scaled down to trade as little as one contract if you want to keep your risk small while learning the system or finding a level of exposure you’re comfortable with. You can also scale positions up as your account size, experience, and risk tolerance allow.
The right account size ultimately comes down to your personal risk tolerance, trading goals, and how much capital you’re comfortable putting at risk. Start with a level that allows you to trade comfortably and consistently rather than choosing an account size simply because it’s larger.
What size prop firm account is best?
There isn’t a single prop firm account size that’s best for everyone. The same StratGeeks approach can be scaled to fit different account sizes and risk preferences.
You can generally scale many templates down to one contract to keep position size and risk small, or scale up as your account and risk tolerance allow. The important consideration is not simply the size of the account, but the firm’s drawdown rules, daily loss limits, contract restrictions, and other trading requirements.
Choose an account size and prop firm structure that gives you enough room to trade the strategy within your personal risk limits. A larger account isn’t necessarily a better account if the rules don’t fit your trading style.

PayPal, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Licensing & access
How does the StratGeeks license work?
Each StratGeeks user receives one license tied to their NinjaTrader User ID. The license can be moved if you change computers or switch VPS providers. To move it, email Ayman@stratgeeks.ai with your new NinjaTrader User ID.
How many licenses do I get?
One license per user.
Your license is tied to one NinjaTrader User ID, but there is no limit on the number of trading accounts you can use the strategies or indicators with.
What happens if I change computers or VPS providers?
You can move your StratGeeks license to a new computer or VPS provider. Email Ayman@stratgeeks.ai with your new NinjaTrader User ID and we can update the license.
Can I use my StratGeeks products on multiple trading accounts?
Yes. There is no limit on the number of trading accounts you can use your StratGeeks strategies or indicators with. The one-license rule refers to your NinjaTrader User ID, not the number of trading accounts.
Support & updates
How does StratGeeks support work?
Support comes directly from StratGeeks. We help members with setup, configuration, questions about the products and getting started. Your membership also includes a 60-minute setup and review session.
What’s included in the 60-minute setup session?
The session is there to help you get set up correctly and understand the important strategy settings. We can walk through the configuration, answer questions and review your setup so you know how the system is intended to operate.
Do StratGeeks products receive updates?
Yes. We continue to refine and improve the systems and products as development continues. Updates may include strategy improvements, bug fixes, configuration changes or other product updates.
Performance & risk
How can I evaluate a StratGeeks strategy before purchasing?
We provide information about each system’s approach, configuration, testing and available performance information, so you can understand how it is designed to operate before purchasing.
Are the results shown on the website live trading results?
Performance information may include hypothetical, simulated or historical results. Where performance information is presented, the site identifies the type of results being shown. Hypothetical and historical results have limitations and should not be treated as a guarantee of future performance. Full Risk Disclosure →
Why can backtested results differ from live trading?
Backtesting is performed using historical market data and assumptions about execution. Live trading involves real-time market conditions, actual order execution, slippage, liquidity, technology and other factors that can affect results. For that reason, historical or hypothetical results will not necessarily match live trading results.
Does past performance guarantee future results?
No. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Trading futures involves substantial risk, and actual results can differ significantly from historical or hypothetical results. Full Risk Disclosure →
