About StratGeeks

We couldn’t find the kind of company we wanted, so we built it.

Built by two traders who wanted something different.

How it started

It started with an introduction

We were both customers of the same trading software company. Neither of us knew the other existed. The owner of that company thought the two of us ought to meet, and put us in touch.

We hit it off almost immediately. The conversations were the kind you do not get very often — long, specific, and about the actual problems of trading rather than the marketing that usually surrounds them. We became friends well before we became anything else.

Eventually those conversations turned into an idea, and the idea turned into StratGeeks. We have been building it together for almost three years.

Why we started

We didn’t want to trade alone

We have each been trading for over ten years. Separately, and long before we met, we both arrived at the same conclusion: automation was the only route to any real consistency. Rules we could define, test and then actually stick to did what discipline on its own never quite managed.

The other thing we both wanted was people. Trading is usually done alone, and it does not have to be. Part of the reason StratGeeks exists is that we wanted somewhere to talk to other traders doing the same work — and because we would rather answer a question ourselves than hand it to somebody who has never used the thing they are supporting.

We set out to build the company we would have wanted to buy from.

Who we are

Two different backgrounds. One company.

StratGeeks works because we each bring something different to the business.

Jake — customer experience

The side you deal with

Jake handles the day-to-day StratGeeks experience — the business and customer side, setup, onboarding, support, product ideas, and making sure members have what they need.

Ayman — licensing & operations

The side behind the systems

Ayman handles licensing and the operational side behind StratGeeks, keeping access, accounts and the infrastructure behind the products running smoothly.

We both trade, and we work on the strategies together — the ideas come from both of us. We both like working with people, and we both enjoy building teams and partnerships. What differs is what we each look after, not what we care about.

What we’re building

The company we wanted to find

01

Systems with defined rules

Automated strategies built from rules you can read, configure and test. Nothing decides anything behind your back.

02

Tools you can understand

You should be able to tell what a setting does and why a trade happened. Anything less is ours to fix.

03

Testing done honestly

Real candlestick data, realistic execution, conservative assumptions. We would rather show you a believable result than an impressive one.

04

Real people behind it

The strategies, the templates, the setup guides and the answers all come from the same two people.

What comes next

There’s more we’re building.

We are continuing to develop new strategies, indicators and tools, while refining the systems already in use.

What we offer today is finished and ready to run. What keeps growing is how much of it there is.

We couldn’t find the kind of company we wanted. So we built it. And we’re still building it.

What we believe

There’s more behind StratGeeks than software.

The Manifesto sets out how we think about research, evidence, probability, risk, automation and continuous improvement — and why we would rather build understanding than sell certainty.

Software is a tool. Research is the foundation. Understanding is the advantage.
